Risk Disclosure
Risk disclosure for liquidity positions, LP options, and smart wallet usage
Risk Disclosure
Draft — this is a general DeFi risk disclosure draft pending product/legal review.
Using opland, connecting a wallet, viewing analytics, configuring monitors, creating smart wallets, authorizing modules, or interacting with third-party DeFi protocols may involve substantial risk of loss. opland provides data, analytics, monitoring, transaction preparation, and bounded execution assistance. It does not provide investment, legal, tax, accounting, financial, or fiduciary advice. No page, report, alert, APR, yield figure, quote, simulation, warning, or agent output is a recommendation, offer, solicitation, or guarantee to buy, sell, hold, borrow, lend, stake, provide liquidity, or enter into any digital asset transaction.
You are responsible for evaluating risks and making independent decisions. Unless separately agreed in writing, opland does not custody your assets, control your private keys, guarantee successful execution, or guarantee any yield, price, liquidity, availability, or tax outcome.
Smart Contract Risk
opland may help you interact with Safe, lp-manager-vault, DEXs, lending markets, reward protocols, cross-chain infrastructure, oracles, RPC providers, and other third-party smart contracts. Smart contracts may contain bugs, permission mistakes, upgrade risk, governance risk, oracle errors, frontend or indexer errors, MEV exposure, replay risk, signature misuse, incorrect approvals, unexpected on-chain state changes, or other technical defects. Audits, tests, simulations, and open-source code do not eliminate these risks.
Liquidity Position / LP Option Risk
Providing liquidity or holding LP positions may involve impermanent loss, market volatility, insufficient fees, slippage, concentrated-liquidity range failure, depleted pool liquidity, reduced rewards, token depegs, incentive changes, protocol parameter changes, liquidation, and failed rebalancing. APR, APY, historical PnL, Greeks, option-style explanations, pool rankings, and yield attribution are based on data sources, models, and assumptions that may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. They do not predict future performance.
Smart Wallet (Safe + lp-manager-vault) Risk
Smart wallets, module authorization, and bounded execution may reduce some operational risks, but they do not guarantee asset safety. You remain responsible for checking every wallet signature, transaction target, approval amount, module permission, chain ID, calldata, recipient, fee, slippage limit, minimum output, and execution path. Wrong signatures, excessive approvals, the wrong Safe, the wrong owner, the wrong chain, malicious extensions, browser injection, phishing sites, or compromised devices may cause loss of funds.
Multi-chain Bridge Risk
Multi-chain assets and cross-chain interactions may be affected by congestion, forks, reorganizations, RPC outages, bridge delays, bridge contract vulnerabilities, cross-chain message failure, finality differences, wrapped-asset issuer risk, and rapid changes in gas fees. Different chains and protocols may have different confirmation times, failure modes, fee models, and regulatory status.
Regulatory & Compliance
Digital assets, DeFi, lending, derivative-like exposure, yield strategies, and automated execution may be subject to different legal, regulatory, tax, sanctions, reporting, and eligibility requirements across jurisdictions, and those requirements may change quickly. You are responsible for confirming whether you may use any feature, asset, protocol, or service and for complying with applicable law. opland may restrict, suspend, or change features for compliance, risk, technical, market, or operational reasons.
Third-party Services and Data
opland may reference third-party protocols, prices, pools, rewards, block explorers, wallets, RPCs, oracles, Safe, Lark, X, and other external services. opland does not control third-party content, availability, security, accuracy, or behavior. External links are not endorsements, approvals, or guarantees.
No Warranty and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, opland and its contributors, affiliates, and service providers are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the product, third-party protocols, digital assets, wallets, data, reports, alerts, simulations, transaction preparation, or on-chain execution. If mandatory law does not allow a particular limitation, that limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted.
